Another caveat to IHG’s Best Rate Guarantee
There was a time when I would pursue IHG Best Rate Guarantees on one night stays since the first night is free (thus the whole stay) if you get your claim accepted. In fact, I even got a $300 per night room at the very nice Crowne Plaza Changi that way. With that said, they have come up with so many obscure ways to deny a claim that the time spent finding lower rates is too great in my opinion.

Way over 5/24 at 20+ in 12 months and 6/ in 12 months with Chase. No luck with an instant 5/24+ override instant approval. I Guinea pigged the application-rolled the dice -got 7-10 day with a 30 day email. Im going to hold my breathe….ok,I’m already breathing again.no worries…. I will hope for best …hope heavy spend garners another card-has definately helped open a few doors of approval in past few years.Hope!
