MLife Offers Resort Credit at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

MLife sent members an offer this weekend for a $100 resort credit when you stay 2 nights at Baha Mar. (Click here for Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Review: Part 1.) From the email, it says to mention offer code Mlife when booking and you’ll receive a $100 Resort Credit. Click here for offer page. The offer is for a limited time and includes stays between April 5th 2018 and July 5th 2018. While I am glad to see this offer, I am more interested in what could come of it in the future. As many of you know, Total Rewards and Atlantis have a casino affiliation and elite Total Rewards members receive Atlantis Casino Perks, including free annual stays. Mlife currently has a partnership with Hyatt of a similar nature but the partnership differs because MLife and Hyatt offer status matches to members of the other program which then entitles them to certain perks in each program.

Baha Mar has not been operating as an Mlife branded casino nor has it been offering reciprocity with MLife. That’s why I was very excited to see this offer. I’m hoping it means some sort of long term deal is on the horizon. If the casino loyalty program were to recognize Mlife elites, there could be a variety of potential perks to players including things like increased comp earnings and casino rates for hotel stays.

It also seems like it could potentially bring in more serious players which Baha Mar could probably use if it wants to compete with the Atlantis Casino. In my Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Review: Part 2, I detailed some issues with the casino. I also noted that it appeared to be empty most of the time, despite the hotel being at capacity for New Year’s Eve. Additionally, the high roller area was a ghost town, which cannot be good for a new casino.

Offer Details

  • Offer valid for credit per stay of at least 2 nights.
  • Offer valid for reservations made in advance between 02/19/2018 and 03/19/2018.
  • Applicable to stays from 04/05/2018 through 07/05/2018 at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.
  • Must request offer code M100 at time of booking to qualify.
  • Credit may not be used for alcoholic beverages, room rate, resort fees, taxes or gratuities.
  • Offer not valid with groups, conventions, other promotional offers, tour packages or special rate programs.

Conclusion

The $100 credit is applicable to stays of 2 nights or more. It seems that you could potentially get a $100 credit if you book two nights and then book 2 more nights under another Mlife member. Also, if you’re MLife Gold or better you can match to Hyatt Explorist and take advantage of free upgrades as well as use your free club upgrades to get lounge access.

A $100 resort credit could get you pretty far for 2 for a party of 2 nights as far as food goes. 1. I would be very interested in the Mlife rewards at the Bahamar. We have been to the Atlantis 9 times and do a lot of gambling We are staying at the Bahamar with 3 other couples for the first time Oct. 10th through the 14th 2018. I already have a players card which I used in May . We live in Florida and love going to the Bahamas. We have the Hardock casinos in Florida we gamble at extensively but would love the idea of going to the Bahamas more frequent.
    Thank You
