Morgan Stanley Platinum Card Available for E*Trade Customers
The Platinum Card from American Express exclusively for Morgan Stanley is one of three Amex Platinum cards available to consumers. Now this version is a bit more accessible as it is also available to those who have a free E*Trade brokerage account.
But just because you might now be eligible for the card, it doesn’t mean that you should rush to apply. The current bonus on the Morgan Stanley Platinum card is only 80,000 points, but we have seen offers as high as 150,000 earlier this year.
The Morgan Stanley Platinum card is a bit different from the other Platinum cards, as it gets you one free authorized user, and lets you redeem points for 1 cent each. You can also have the $895 annual fee waived, but only if you have a Platinum CashPlus account which has a $55/month fee. There are also some reports that it might be easier to get approved for this card, compared to the regular Amex Platinum card. You can read all about the card here.
Before you apply for one of the three Platinum cards, it’s worth mentioning that there’s now a family rule for them. You may not be eligible for a bonus if you have of have had one of these three cards in the past.
