The big news of this week was the Golden Knights winning the Stanley Cup championship and having an epic parade to celebrate with more than 100K fans in attendance. With an amazing drone show and huge support from the fans, this was a season to remember. Will the A’s get the same support now that their stadium financing bill is passed?

In other news taxi fares are set to increase in Las Vegas with all aspects of the price going up. Is surge pricing for Vegas taxis the next thing to come? We also discuss 1940’s slot machines, surprising international tourism numbers, a cool new food hall in Las Vegas and an announced $10 billion project that will include an NBA arena and will be the most expensive project in Las Vegas history.

  1. Taxi cab increases? Haven’t they been hurt by uber and lyft to realize their rates are too high and people were smarting up to having to “take the highway ” to their hotel s?
