4. Amex Moving to Further Restrict Centurion Lounge Access During Peak Periods?

I guess American Express is tired of hearing all of the complaints about overcrowding at the Centurion Lounges.  Instead of adding on or coming up with a policy to restrict access they decided to point you to the Delta Lounge or Priority Pass lounge.  Both of which happen to be a perk of the Amex Platinum Card…coincidence?  Check to see if you are eligible for the 100K sign up bonus if you haven’t had the personal platinum already.

Disturbing patterns coming out of Chase where they have been shutting down users accounts even when they haven’t had a recent application.  It sounds like Chase may take a look at your overall credit from all banks.  That is a part of the reason why I have been trying to close dormant accounts.  Amex didn’t want to be left out in the cold and started shutdowns of their own!
