Two New Andaz Hotels in Thailand and Mexico
In recent days, Hyatt has opened two new Andaz properties in Thailand and Mexico. Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach marked the debut of the Andaz brand in Thailand on January 16th. Today, Andaz Mexico City Condesa opened its doors, marking the first urban Andaz property in Mexico and the second Andaz-branded hotel in the country following Andaz Mayakoba Riviera Maya.
Check out details and images of these two properties below.
Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach
This property is nestled across over 15 acres (6.4 hectares) of stunning beachfront land, amid mature trees and gardens overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. This luxury lifestyle resort provides a myriad of ways for guests to express their personal style and connect with the local culture and nature.
Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach is a tranquil oceanfront sanctuary on Tawanron Beach, between the popular holiday hub of Jomtien and the charming fishing village of Bang Saray and is within a 10-minute drive from most of Pattaya’s scenic and tourism hotspots such as the beautiful rolling green countryside, lakes, wineries, world-class golf courses and cafes. Less than two hours by car from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi Airport, the resort is in the Na Jomtien area which is poised to become a luxury lifestyle leisure destination as part of the country’s Eastern Economic Corridor development.
Set in low-rise clustered buildings, the 204 rooms, suites, and villas, which start from 538 square feet, are adorned with locally influenced interiors, walk-in rain showers and a balcony or terrace with a relaxing daybed. The Lagoon Access Rooms invite guests to step straight into the rippling waters of the resort pool, while the Pool Suites allow guests to cool down with a private dip at any time of day, and the Beachfront Suites are set directly on the soft sand.
The resort’s six distinct restaurants and bars feature local, seasonal, and sustainable produce, including tropical fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices from the onsite organic garden. That includes Fish Club, Wok Wok, La Cucina, Village Butcher, the Teak Lounge and and the soon-to-open Ruen Thai.
Andaz Mexico City Condesa
Located in the charming neighborhood of Condesa, an urban community radiating rich history and culture, the new hotel is ideally situated amongst many of the city’s most noteworthy art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants offering guests the very best of its locale. It boasts a unique roster of guest amenities including a beach club-inspired rooftop restaurant with a robust mixology program, a pet-friendly hideaway, an onsite spa, and one of the tallest outdoor terraces in the area.
The new hotel is housed within the historic ‘i421 Live District.’ Designed by famed architect José Luis Benlliure Galán who is credited with bringing Art Deco architecture to Mexico City, the building was named a Mexico City Heritage Site and is considered a true masterpiece of Mexican architecture. The building has since been carefully restored and preserved, honoring the geometric beauty and architectural empowerment it holds in the Condesa neighborhood
The hotel offers 213 residentially inspired guestrooms, including 20 suites, all of which feature views of either the tree-lined avenues of the Condesa neighborhood, an internal courtyard or, from higher up, sweeping views of Mexico City.
Dining options include Cabuya Rooftop, a Tulum-inspired beach-club, Derba Matcha Café, an all-day café, and the hotel’s Wooftop Beer Garden and Canine Club.
To celebrate its debut, Andaz Mexico City Condesa is offering a special opening rate that is 20% off the hotel’s standard rate for stays through December 31, 2023 when booked directly before February 28, 2023.
