Couldn’t have said it better myself :)…. Yes they tend to run the same promos from year to year when it comes to status. usually there’s a limited enrollment period.
AA platinum status ended June 12th according to your link so not really a benefit?
ur looking at it wrong. this post is about the AA discount. the AA platinum status via FC was a promo challenge. it was a benefit when it was live. FC has many limited time promos. yea its expired now but it always comes back. furthermore, thats not important because AA only allows members to receive elite status through a challenge once every five years. meaning, if AA elite was important to you, it wouldnt be thru FC. u would do it urself and get EXP or CK. AA Plat is pleb level but i guess better than nothing.
I would take AA Plat as I have no status except for United Silver.
