New Limited Time Offer for American Express Business Platinum Card
American Express has launched a new welcome offer for the American Express Business Platinum Card. Besides the usual bonus that varies between 150,000 and 250,000 Membership Rewards points, new cardmembers can also get an additional bonus in the form of $500 statement credit when booking flights. Take a look at the details below.
The Offer
- A one-time $500 statement credit after they spend $2,500 in airfare booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel on their Business Platinum Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership; and/or
- 150,000 Membership Rewards® points after spending $20,000 on eligible purchases on their Card in the first 3 months of Card Membership.
- New Card Members must apply by June 30, 2025 to be eligible for this offer.
- The airline travel can occur after the first 3 months of Card Membership provided that the booking was posted to the account within the applicable offer period.

Find Better Bonus
As mentioned above, the welcome bonus may vary. For the points portion of the offer, you can get a bonus as high as 250,000 Membership Rewards. So it’s worth trying to apply with a clean browser, or from different locations.
It’s also worth noting that this same bonus is available through referral links as well. And it doesn’t have to be a referral from a Business Platinum Card. Most Amex cards’ referrals will show the same welcome bonus for the Business Platinum Card.
Conclusion
This new offer is similar to the old bonus on the Amex Business Platinum card. But you can now also get a $500 credit when booking flights of $2,500 or more directly with airlines, or through Amex Travel.
The credit is better than the Amex Offer that is available for existing Business Platinum cardmembers who get a one-time $250 statement credit after they spend $2,500 in airfare booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel on their Card.
