New Restriction Added for The Club Airport Lounges
The Club is a network or airport lounges and part of Priority Pass. They have locations in ATL, BOS, BWI, CHS, CVG, DFW, JAX, LAS, MCO, PIT, SEA and SJC. They have added a new rule now that restricts entry to their lounges. Starting in September, you will only be allowed entry within three hours prior to your departure.
Here is the new condition listed for The Club lounges on the Priority Pass website:
- Please note effective 01SEP19 the following conditions will apply:- Access is permitted 3 hours prior to scheduled flight departure.
Conclusion
This is similar to what American Express did with Centurion lounges earlier this year. It’s a way for lounges to keep their locations from overcrowding. But at the same time it hurts travelers who might want to hear out to the airport earlier.
