New United Airlines Mile Play Promotion

United Airlines has launched its latest Mile Play promotion. This is a targeted offer for MileagePlus members and it can earn you extra miles for United flights. Offers can vary widely from one account to the other.

You can check here if you were targeted and see the details of your offer. Just enter your MileagePlus number, check the “not a robot” box and then click “Start Mile Play.”

Here are some of the offers that we have seen this time around:

  • Book and take 1 trip of $275 or more to get 4,300 miles.
  • Book and take a trip 1 time in a premium seat to get 5,000 miles.
  • Book and take 2 trips of $225 or more each to get 13,000 miles.
  • Book and take 2 trips of $225 or more each to get 7,700 miles.

If you are not targeted, you will see a message saying “the account number you entered is not eligible for this offer.”

Key Terms

  • Member must register for this promotion on or prior to March 17, 2025.
  • Only transactions initiated after registration and completed on or prior to March 17, 2025 will qualify toward satisfaction of offer requirements.
  • You must complete all activity specified in the offer to receive bonus award miles.

Conclusion

These Mileage Plus Miles Play promotions vary widely. Most people will see offers for an extra few thousand miles when they spend a certain amount. That might not really make you change your travel plans.

But if you are already planning to fly United, or you see a great offer, then it can be worth considering.

  1. Here is my offer. Maximizing it would be by purchasing the United flights directly from United using an AMEX Platinum card for 5X Membership Rewards.

    Book and take a trip* 3 times to earn 19,000 bonus miles. * A “trip” is a unique travel itinerary documented by United with a confirmation number. Please note that the trip must be booked after registration date and completed before the challenge end date.
