Awesome New World of Hyatt Promo

World of Hyatt continues to bring valuable opportunities for members to start traveling again and be rewarded for their stays. As members begin planning future travels and looking for ways to earn points and boost tier status, the upcoming return of World of Hyatt’s Bonus Journeys global promotion will provide members the most rewarding opportunity yet to help them do just that. Let’s take a look at the details.

The Offer

Beginning October 1, 2020, World of Hyatt members globally can register to earn Triple Points across all Hyatt locations worldwide for stays through January 4, 2021, starting with their first qualifying stay during that period. This includes:

  • Participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide across 18 brands such as Thompson Hotels, Hyatt Regency, Andaz, Destination Hotels, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House.
  • Participating MGM Resorts destinations, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) hotels and Lindblad Expedition experiences.

Plus, World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can earn Quadruple Points (instead of triple points) on eligible spend for stays at 350+ participating resort locations. You could earn more than 20x at Hyatt resort properties. A list of 160 participating Hyatt resort properties, 200 SLH properties, and a handful of MGM Resort Destinations will be available once registration is live.

Members must register for this promotion by November 30, 2020.  It doesn’t matter when the stay was booked, but only stays completed after registration with a checkout date between October 1 and January 4, 2021 will qualify.

Bonus Tier-Qualifying Nights

Additionally, for every Tier-Qualifying Night on stays completed during the Promotion Period, members will earn one Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status the year in which they earn it, and one bonus Tier-Qualifying Night credit toward elite status in 2021. This means members can have a head start on earning tier status and Milestone Rewards for the following year, something we know is always important to our members.

Other Promotions

World of Hyatt also has more ongoing promotions and some of then have extended registration.

  • Free Nights on Sale – World of Hyatt members can receive 15% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points when they redeem points for free night stays, now through January 4, 2021. World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can receive an additional 10% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points, for a total of 25% of redeemed points back when used during the promotion period.
    • Members and Cardmembers have more time to register for the exclusive offer by December 1, 2020. Members can register here; Cardmembers can register here.
  • Free Parking – Now extended for stays through January 4, 2021, free nights now include free parking for all World of Hyatt members on stays through January 4, 2021, and because members always enjoy waived resort fees on free nights, they’re truly free. Globalists will also receive free parking on eligible paid stays during the extended promotion period.
  • Dine Local, Earn Triple Points – World of Hyatt members can continue treating themselves when dining close to home by earning triple points on eligible spend for dine-in, takeout or delivery (when not staying the night) at participating outlets at Hyatt hotels and resorts, now extended through January 4, 2020.
  • Work from Hyatt Package – At more than 25 participating resorts in the U.S., Mexico and Caribbean, this package transforms a work from home routine into a memorable working vacation. Abundant outdoor spaces and spacious guestrooms and suites let the family spread out. Private work areas and high-speed internet make remote work and school a breeze. Hotel amenities–from room service to refreshing pools–make a stay a true escape from the everyday.

  1. All fixed. Those that previously enrolled are considered already-enrolled with the new extended expiration date.

  2. I just tried to register for the 25% back in points and it said I am ineligible, so I don’t think the registration period has been extended.

    • Likewise. I registered for the same promotion with the October 8th expiration date. When I tried to register for this one that expires Jan 4, 2021, it says I am ineligible. Glitch? Are those that registered for the previous promotion auto-enrolled in this? Need to figure this out…

      • I called and spoke to an agent and her supervisor. She said that they are looking into it and will probably update the promotion page to indicate that anyone that has already registered for the pre-existing promo with a Oct 8, 2020 expiration is automatically registered with the new extended expiration of Jan 4, 2020. Will report back when I hear back personally.
