Norwegian Cruise Line is Giving Away Free Cruises to Teachers
Norwegian Cruise Line will reward some teachers in the United States and Canada with a free cruise for Teacher Appreciation Week. From now through April 12, anyone can nominate the teacher in their lives, or one that impacted them, to win a free cruise aboard the Norwegian Joy.
The Offer
To celebrate Norwegian Joy’s upcoming debut in North America, we’re giving a seven-day cruise for two to 15 amazing teachers in the U.S. and Canada.*
Nominate an educator who demonstrates a passion for spreading the joy of learning (or, if you are one, nominate yourself!). Tell us how your candidate is bringing joy to the classroom, then cast your vote.
The top 15 nominees will receive a free cruise for two, an exclusive invitation to an award ceremony on May 3 in Seattle (including airfare and accommodations) and the chance to win the grand prize of $15,000 for their school.
Key Terms
- The Norwegian Cruise Line 2019 Giving Joy Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Friday, April 12, 2019 (the “Contest Period”).
- In order to nominate a teacher or yourself (a “Nominator”) you must be a current legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) or the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), who is at least thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of submitting your nomination, unless you are nominating yourself as a Nominee, in which case you must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to be a Nominee.
- In order to vote (a “Voter”) you must be a current legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) or the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), who is at least thirteen (13) years of age or older with a valid Facebook account in good standing at the time of voting.
Conclusion
A great giveaway from Norwegian. Teaching is a difficult job and often teachers are underpaid and schools underfunded. If you have a teacher in your life, or if you can single out any teacher’s you’ve had in the past, take a few minutes to nominate them for a free trip.
