Palazzo Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts
I recently reviewed Palazzo Las Vegas and assessed the property as offering reliable value for most everyone. Visiting the property on an Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts stay is even better. I was able to take advantage of these benefits throughout my stay. Today, I’ll step through the Palazzo Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits and provide my take. As you’ll see, you too can maximize them on a future stay with a bit of preparation. Let’s check out all the good stuff!

Palazzo Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts Benefits
First off, Fine Hotels & Resorts guests should ensure to check in at the “Invited Guests” desk perpendicular to the main front desk. Lines are shorter and service even more personalized here. These are the Palazzo Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits:
- Early 12 noon check-in, when available.
- Room upgrade upon arrival, when available.
- Complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. Palazzo’s standard delivery is midday after the first night of one’s stay.
- Daily breakfast for two: Breakfast credit of $65 daily for in-suite dining or at Grand Lux Cafe.
- Since complimentary in-room wi-fi is included as part of the daily resort fee, the wi-fi FHR benefit ($5) has been added to the $60 daily breakfast credit.
- Guaranteed 4 pm late checkout.
- Resort Experience Credit: $100 property credit to be used during the stay. Only the following outlets are eligible for the resort experience credit:
- Canyon Ranch Spa
- Casino & Pool Bars
- The Cocktail Collective: The Dorsey, Electra, and Rosina
- Majordomo Meat & Fish by David Chang
- Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano
- Mott 32
- Go Greek Yogurt
- Starbucks
My Take
Palazzo offers the expected FHR benefits, but nothing overly impressive. Still, the benefits deliver overall. I was upgraded to a strip view room – the same entry level room with an improved view. Also, I was able to check in early for my stay – around 2:30 pm (based on my arrival). I enjoyed my tasty breakfast at Grand Lux Cafe and had plenty of breakfast credit left to treat my friend. I was able to check out late without issue. The bottle of sparkling wine showed up as promised, as did a fresh fruit tray and bottled water.
Ensure to read the fine print on the $100 property credit at Palazzo. The credit is substantially limited relative to the huge array of Palazzo and Venetian dining and drinking options. I wish there were more eateries in the Grand Canal Shoppes eligible for the credit. Nonetheless, I was able to use the entire credit at the Capri poolside cafe and bar.
Palazzo Las Vegas FHR Perks: Final Thoughts
It was fairly easy to use all the FHR benefits at Palazzo, and I don’t see anyone having trouble maximizing them. Again, I wish there were more options for the property credit. The vast number of dining outlets throughout the sprawling Palazzo further highlight that weakness. I would’ve enjoyed my stay even without these FHR benefits, but I’ll happily take them again if I’m in the position to do so. How was your Palazzo Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts experience?

Hi Benjy,
I realize this is an FHR/Palazzo review, but I’m wondering if you’ve heard anything about booking Palazzo/Venetian rooms via ihg.com. They disappeared as options from IHG’s website about a month ago and I haven’t seen anything announced about that from IHG or published on blogs. It’s both for cash & points bookings. Wondering if that’s permanent.
I did this exact stay for a night in early December just before omicron got cooking. It was exactly as you describe (great!) with one strange quirk. I struggled to get the full list of outlets that would honor the $100 credit. First I was told it would be w the welcome letter. Not there. Then told it would be in the room. Nope. Then called down and told someone would call back w that info. No call after 30 min. Then finally got someone to track down the list and read it off to me. It didn’t ruin anything about the stay. But was just a smidge quirky. I was traveling solo, so did a monster lunch at Matteo’s, which was delish! Also, the banana bread w the room service breakfast — life-changing!
Curious what your experience was w getting the list of approved outlets?
Dkinvegas,
It looks like they’ve corrected that shortcoming. The FHR summary document provided to me at check in listed all participating outlets for the $100 credit.
