Plastiq Gives Out Fee-Free Dollars And Warns People About Visa Payments

Plastiq is having issues with Visa payments once again. Since the beginning of June, payments made through Plastiq with many Visa cards will be treated as cash advance. This is a Visa issue, but still Plastiq has been proactive and really helpful with information on how to avoid Cash Advance fees. FrequentMiler reports that Plastiq is contacting customers to warn them about these fees and suggesting to cancel payments that will incur CA fees. It is also suggesting to switch those payments to a card that is safe.

In addition to all the warning, Plastiq is also fee-free dollars for the amount of the scheduled payments. So if you have scheduled a payment with a Visa card for $500, they will give you $500 in fee-free dollars. That should make your rescheduled payment free.

Conclusion

A nice gesture from Plastiq. This issue is not their fault but they have still been really helpful to their customers to help them avoid unnecessary fees. They’re even giving out fee-free dollars. They also have a promotion going on that lets you pay your bills with a MasterCard credit card for free.

If you’ve never tried Plastiq, you can sign up through my referral and earn $500 fee-free dollars. That means that you can pay a $500 bill with a credit card with no fee.

  1. Are they reaching out individually? I had a payment due to be processed on Alliant Visa on the 20th but they haven’t reached out.
