PNC Bank has extended a nationwide offer that can get you either a $200 or $300 bonus. This bonus is usually limited to only a few states, so it’s a good opportunity for those who haven;t been eligible in the past. Let’s check the details.

Virtual Wallet with Performance Spend ($200 Bonus) has a $15 monthly fee that can be waived with any of the following options:
- Average monthly balance of $2,000 or more
- Qualifying direct deposit of $2,000 or more
- $15,000 in linked eligible accounts
There’s also a $25 fee for both accounts if you close them within 180 days.
Conclusion
We see this offer a couple of times a year, but it is usually limited to some states only. This time around it looks like there’s no restrictions. This is a great bonus if you can manage the $5,000 direct deposit. A simple ACH transfer has worked for me in the past. On top of that you can fund with a credit card for up to $2,000 so that should be a bonus of at least $40 on its own. It could also help with spending requirement on a new card. Just make sure to set your cash advance limit lower than $2,000 to be safe. This is no longer an option.
