Amex Premier Rewards Gold 50K Bonus Offer
American Express is targeting some customers with a new offer for the Premier Rewards Golf card. This is a good opportunity for those who have previously had the card.
The Offer
Earn 50,000 Points after you spend $2,000 on purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months of Card Membership on the American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card.
$195 Annual Fee (waived first year).
How to Check if You’re Targeted for the Amex PRG 50K Offer
To check if you’re targeted for the offer, you can check your Amex account to see if you have the offer, or log into your account and visit this link. If you see an error, it means that you’re not targeted.
Offer Analysis
This could be considered the best offer for this card, although we’ve seen a previous offer for 65K MR points that required you to pay one annual fee of $195.
What makes this offer even better is that it doesn’t have the lifetime restriction in the application page. That means that you can receive the bonus even if you’ve previously had this card. But, if you’re targeted, make sure you check your own offer for the lifetime language.
Caution
American Express has been cracking down on those who get bonuses through manufactured spending. We’ve posted a few times bout these issues where Amex has clawed back MR points. Although these issues have been mainly affecting people who applied through leaked links, I would suggest to try to use organic spend for Amex bonuses.
Conclusion
If you’re targeted, then you should definitely apply. This is probably the best offer for the card and a great opportunity for those who have previously had the card since it doesn’t have the lifetime restriction.

DoC has the correct link. Yours is wrong.
I’ve got yet a different offer: application for PRG, 25K MR points for $1K spend. That’s essentially the same proposition as 50K for $2K spend, so I think I’ll take it. I do not see any mention of once-per-lifetime restrictions. Heck, even if they don’t come through with the 25K points, the $100 airline credit makes it worthwhile.
Thanks for the tip, DDG! The targeted offers are weirdly hard to find if you’re not actively looking for them.
I’ve got an offer for a 15K MR points if I upgrade from Green and spend $1K over 90 days. Don’t see the 50K MR points…
