Primm Valley & Whiskey Pete’s Casino Tour
Las Vegas is home to a ton of fun and unique things to do. For a period of time other markets tried to capitalize on the popularity of Sin City to build fun and interesting things themselves. Primm is one such place. Located on the California/Nevada border just about 30 minutes from Vegas, it is a world of its own.
Before my family moved to Vegas when I was 11 years old we drove here quite often. That drive always involved Interstate 15 and Primm. As a young child I remember the area only having Whiskey Pete’s, however before long Primm Valley (then called Primadonna) and eventually Buffalo Bill’s and it’s 200+ foot tall roller coaster were built.
A few days ago I posted our tour of the now indefinitely closed Buffalo Bill’s casino and theme park in Primm. Today we have a treat for you with our tour of the two other major properties Whiskey Pete’s and Primm Valley. Both of these casinos have unique and interesting things to see including Bonnie & Clyde’s Death Car and so much more.
Also of interest is the completely “dead” mall attached to Primm Valley and how the owner is looking to save it. From colorful art work to pieces of history there is a ton to see and experience in Primm and I hope you’ll enjoy this video.
Primm Valley & Whiskey Pete’s Casino Tour – Bottom Line
While I know many people drive through Primm on every Vegas trip, many people who fly in never get to experience this desert outpost of gaming and fun. I guess after touring the properties my question is this. Do you think Primm is a desert oasis or a relic of another time? What is your favorite part of Primm?

Wow! I remember hanging out there around 15 years ago. How it has changed!
Enjoyed their golf course 13 yrs ago. Looked up to see if they are still in business, they are sponsoring a Covid Cup?!
Oh wow I hadn’t heard of that. I always found that golf course a bit strange, but many golfers I know love the course. Other than being a bit inconvenient (not to mention 10 minutes away from the casinos) both courses there look very nice.
