Priority Pass Will Increase Visit Fees Starting October 1st
Priority Pass is a popular network of airport lounges with more than 1,3000 locations around the world. They also feature several restaurants and spas.
Priority Pass lounges can be accessed regardless of the airline you’re flying, or the fare class that you have purchases. They offer an option for frequent travelers to get away from the busy terminals and hopefully enjoy some peace and quiet, plus like food and beverages, free Wi-Fi, and more.
Several credit cards offer free Priority Pass membership with unlimited visits, or with a limited number of free visits per year. These normally include a limited number of free guests as well.
But Priority Pass announced this week that it will raise prices for lounge visits starting next month. The price increase will not affect those with complimentary access.
The new visit fee will apply to any chargeable member or guest visits made to any of the lounges around the world starting October 1st 2023. The fee will increase from US$32 to US$35 per person, per visit. Any chargeable visits taken before this date will be processed at the previous visit fee.
“Like many other companies we need to balance our pricing with rising costs” Priority Pass said about the fee increase. “We have held our prices for over four years, however, at a time when businesses face unprecedented challenges and cost increases, we do now have to make an adjustment to our visit fees.”
