Two Gift Card Deals at Publix, MasterCard and iTunes

Publix Super Markets has two gift cards deals, one for Mastercard gift cards and the other for iTunes gift cards. Let’s look at the details.

The Offers

  • Save $10 (probably on groceries) when you purchase $150 or more of Mastercard® gift cards.
    • One offer per transaction.
    • Coupon cannot be used towards the purchase of a gift card.
    • Minimum purchase: None
    • Expires 4/7/2018
  • Save $5 off when you purchase $50 or more of App Store & iTunes Gift Cards
    • Product may not be available in all states.
    • One offer per transaction.
    • Coupon cannot be used towards the purchase of a gift card.
    • Expires 4/7/2018

Conclusion

The iTunes offer shouldn’t be worth it, as you can occasionally get 15% discounts through other deals. The MasterCard offer gives you a small profit, but it doesn’t look like it’s an instant discount. Should still be useful for those who have a Publix supermarket nearby.

make sure you use a credit card that will earn the most rewards on groceries, or take advantage of Apple Pay offers from Amex and Chase, if you were targeted.

  1. The discount is instant, they scan the giftcard, then they scan the coupon and it takes $10, so you pay $140 minus the Mastercard fee (not sure how much, I think $4.95)
