  1. Bait and switch!

    I usually buy hotels.com GC on raise. Usually listed at 7% off and they have 5% coupons periodically. I buy $200 in GC for $176.50 after discount/coupon.

    Was happy to see 6% coupon until I realized the discount was decreased to 6.5%. Did my usual $200, applied coupon and total came out…$177.00.

    $0.50 is no big deal, but whole thing feels a bit shady.
