Personal Capital is a digital wealth management service. Personal Capital’s financial tools are completely free, but they do offer advisory services for a fee. Now there’s also a $50 bonus from Rakuten for those who sign up for a new account, or 5,000 Membership Rewards, depending on your preference. Let’s see how this offer works.

The Offer

Register with Personal Capital and link at least $100,000 in investable assets to Personal Capital’s Free Financial Dashboard to earn a $50 bonus (or 5,000 Membership Rewards points) from Rakuten.

Conclusion

You can sign up for a free Personal Capital account and then link your 401K or other investment accounts. The total has to be at least $100,000. Personal Capital just monitors your accounts, and all data with AES-256 encryption.

  3. Be aware! During account creation, PC requires you to setup a 30-minute appointment with their advisor and you can’t skip. Such garbage!
