Thanks so much!!
Just wanted to say that I’ve used Rocketmiles twice now – once in the past, and one stay coming up next week. The first was the sign-up bonus of 5k miles for a first stay, which was more than worth missing out on some Hilton points. This one coming up is for a stay at LAX – price-wise, it was the same as the rate listed on the hotel website, though since it’s a Hyatt and I don’t normally stay at Hyatts/earn points there, I chose to book with RM and get some AA miles. This hotel was $30+ cheaper than the Hilton/Marriott/SPG options in the area (and it’s right next to the airport which is great for a 6a departure), so a good choice for me.
Other than that, I usually find the prices to be $10-20 higher than the normal hotel sites, and of course you miss out on elite benefits one other hotel points if you use them, but it’s definitely worth looking at at least.
