Rove Adds Japan Airlines as 14th Transfer Partner

Rove, the program positioning itself as the “universal airline mile”, has officially added Japan Airlines (JAL) Mileage Bank as its 14th transfer partner. This adds a valuable redemption option for Rove members, at a 1:1 transfer ratio. But it gets even better if you transfer miles this month, as you get a 50% bonus.

Limited Times Transfer Bonus

Under the new partnership, Rove Miles transfer to JAL Mileage Bank at a 1:1 ratio, consistent with Rove’s other airline transfer partners.

To celebrate the launch, Rove is offering a limited-time transfer bonus promotion, allowing members to receive additional 50% more JAL miles when converting Rove Miles through 11:59 p.m. EST on March 31st, 2026.

With this added bonus, you get 1,500 JAL miles for every 1,000 Rove Miles that you transfer.

Rove Transfer Partners

With this addition, Rove now offers 14 transfer partners, including leading global airline and hotel loyalty programs such as:

  • Aeromexico Rewards
  • ALL Accor
  • Cathay
  • Etihad Guest
  • Finnair Plus
  • Air France-KLM Flying Blue
  • Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club
  • Air India Maharaja Club
  • Miles & More
  • Qatar Airways Privilege Club
  • Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles

Conclusion

Japan Airlines is part of the Oneworld alliance and it operates an extensive global network with service from nine U.S. airports. Through Oneworld and additional airline partnerships, JAL gives Rove members access to nearly every major international market.

The transfer ratio is in line with other partners at 1:1. But if you already have a sizable Rove Miles stash, then you can transfer through the end of the month with a 50% bonus.
