$50 Statement Credit with $250 Purchase at Saks Fifth Avenue
American Express has a new targeted Amex Offer for Saks Fifth Avenue which can be profitable especially when combined with in-store cashback from Ebates.
The Offer
Get a one time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $250 or more in 1 or more transactions in-store at Saks Fifth Avenue or online at saks.com by 1/22/2018.
Key Terms
- Enrollment limited.
- Not valid at outlet locations (in-store and online).
- Excludes restaurants located within the store and Online Bill Pay for Saks Credit.
- Not valid on saks.com purchases shipped outside of the US.
- Valid at any participating location in the US and US Territories.
Conclusion
This could be a profitable offer if you have it on your cards. The Amex Offer gives you a 20% discount and gift card purchases are not excluded. You can sell them for a profit of at least 5% of face value, plus you can get 4% cachback in-store from Ebates.
I’d like to get the MR points, but the portals all explicitly exclude gift card purchases. I’m also only seeing 80% cash resale value at (what I consider to be) reputable gift card exchanges. Does anybody have portal data points and/or a better gift card exchange option? Thanks.
Ebates in-store cash back is not available on gift cards.
I got paid on an in-store gift card purchase at Bed Bath & Beyond a few weeks ago.
