Seated App, Get up to a $20 Gift Card Every Time You Dine
Seated it’s an app that helps make a restaurant reservation, but most importantly it awards you for dining out. You can earn up to a $20 gift card every time you try out a restaurant that you find in the app, but most places award you $15. You need to a make a reservation for two and you need to order food in order to earn a gift card. They also limit you to two gift cards per month for a specific restaurant.
The app is available only in a a few cities for now and not all restaurants are included. The restaurants you will find in the app should vary from medium priced to expensive, but you should be able to find some decent opportunities, especially if you find places that you would visit anyway.
You can search by city, type of cuisine, or even gift card reward amount. The map option when searching also makes it easier to see restaurants near a specific location.

- 2. Search from the best restaurants in your city, and pick when you’d like to eat

Conclusion
This is a good opportunity to earn a gift card if you see any of your favorite restaurants. The gift cards available are pretty valuable for most people since they include merchants that rarely have discounted gift cards such as Uber and Amazon. One downside is that the only option for signing up is with your Facebook account.
I took a quick look at the restaurants and I saw some places that I’ve already visited. I even saw one restaurant in Brooklyn, NY that is also on Groupon, which is a nice double dipping opportunity.

how does both groupon and seated work at the same time?
Groupon trigger automatically when you use a registered card, and for Seated you get rewards when you upload the receipt.

Wish you had mentioned that the only sign up option is with facebook. I don’t EVER use that option. I would not have wasted time downloading the app, then uninstalling it. I’m not giving ANY app, anyONE, access to my facebook account!!!

How do they track if you have spent money on food? when you sign up you only give your phone number. Am I missing something? I guess you are relying on the restaurant to inform Seated that you were seated?
I’m not sure how they would track it. It’s possible that they have some kind of relationship with Seated since not all restaurants are inlcuded. We need some data points.
