Shop Your Way Everywhere 25% Bonus
The Shop Your Way Everywhere portal has a promotion that is running through today which can be quite lucrative. While I stumbled upon this a bit late, I think it will be of interest to many of you. Let’s take a look.
The Deal
Get 25% in points (max award $50 in points) when you shop with a qualifying brand!
Key Terms
- Valid September 10th – September 16th, 2016.
- Limit one (1) offer per member.
- Purchase requirement after gift cards and discounts and before taxes and other fees are applied.
- Offer cannot be combined with other Shop Your Way promotions.
- Void if purchase is cancelled or returned.
- Must initiate purchase online through ShopYourWay.com or SYWEverywhere.com only.
- Points may require up to 45 days to be awarded.
You can find the full terms and list of qualifying brands on the promotion page.
Raise
Per the terms, Raise is one of the qualifying merchants. This means that you should be able to receive a 25% rebate in the form of points on a gift card purchase from the site. Spend $200 on Raise and get $50 back in Shop Your Way points. Not bad at all!
Other Brands
There are around 50 qualifying brands that you can shop at, so Raise is not your only option if you aren’t looking for gift cards. Brands like Macy’s, Kohl’s, Nordstrom, Staples and others will also qualify for the deal. Of course if I was going to shop at those stores, I would probably buy a discounted gift card at Raise to earn the 25% back and then go through another portal to actually buy merchandise at the store. You save more that way.
Conclusion
The ability to get any sort of portal rebate when purchasing gift cards is rare, especially once you have purchased more than $1,000 from Raise on your account. This deal seemingly doesn’t have these restrictions which is nice. 25% back on anything is good, but 25% back plus a gift card discount plus another portal bonus when purchasing = Ninja Tricks!

This program is a pain. I got some deals through a blog. Had a nice amount of points and by the time I get my shipment the damn points are already expiring. Really?? You got me. Won’t be doing that again.
[…] Hat tip to Milestomemories […]
I’m seeing Raise listed on the site as 8% back. So I’m. not understanding the 25% back. Please explain.
PS. Your favorite 1-800-Flowers shows as 20% back
The details of the 25% are here. http://www.syweverywhere.com/sale
AND because I’m traveling, Raise won’t process any “foreign transactions.” Sheesh.
Looks like the 25% might not work for any of us who’ve purchased $1k+ from Raise. According to MilesWhip anyways. I guess I got in on this deal a bit too soon lol.
I am not sure whether Ninja tricks work or not
Purchase requirement after gift cards and discounts and before taxes and other fees are applied.
So whatever amount you are paying through a card after applying any discounts and gift card will be counted as per the above term. So not sure u can double dip. Correct me if iam wrong. And SYWE is a pain to follow up and get the points
It isn’t too advanced, but you are stacking multiple deals. To make the math easy, let’s say you buy a $220 merchant card at a 10% discount with a cost of $200.
You get $20 in credit over what you paid.
You earn $50 in SYWR.
You earn credit card rewards.
You get portal cashback when shopping at the merchant with another portal.
There are some merchants where this deal could net a 50% savings off face value in the end. Again, not the greatest example of stacking, but a solid deal nonetheless.
I don’t suppose there’s any issue with doing this once for myself and one for my wife? Given that eBay gift cards are working again, seems like an easy way to earn $50 in SYW points.
I believe that should be fine. My wife and I both have SYWR accounts and plan to participate.
