ShopRite: Buy $100 in Gift Cards, Get $20 Savings Coupon

Shop Rite has a new promotion on third party gift cards. Lowe’s is pictured in the ad but it could also work on other gift cards. Let’s look at the details.

The Offer

Get $20 off your next shopping order when you purchase $100 in select gift cards with your Price Plus club card. Offer is valid 3/18/18 – 3/24/18. Excludes ShopRite gift cards. See ad.

Lowe’s is the only card featured in the ad, but the language of the ad makes it seem like more gift cards should be eligible. Check your local stores.

Key Terms

  • Must be one transaction.
  • Limit one per customer.
  • Coupon prints at register and must be presented to redeem $20 on your next shopping order at your local ShopRite store from 3/25/18-3/31/18.
  • Minimum purchase of $20 required (excludes prescription medications, gift cards, postage stamp sales, milk, cigarettes, fuel, tobacco products, and alcoholic beverages or any other items prohibited by law). While supplies last. Subject to availability. See gift cards for terms, conditions and (if applicable) fees.

Conclusion

This is a nice discount but limited to one per customer. It should work on most gift cards besides ShopRite gift cards and Visa, Amex and Mastercard gift cards. Even if it works on Lowe’s only, it should still get you some decent savings on groceries, especially if you use a card that earn you 5-6% at supermarkets.

  1. It is only for Lowe’s gift cards. The offer is worded oddly. Customer Service could not tell me whether or not it was only Lowe’s so I purchased $100 in other GC and did not get the $20 for my next shopping order printed on the receipt. Bought $100 in Lowe’s GC and the offer came up.
