Cardless Partners with Simon to Launch First Amex Credit Card
Cardless announced today a new American Express credit card in partnership with Simon, a real estate investment trust engaged in the ownership of premier shopping malls, outlet centers, and mixed-use destinations in the United States. The new card is called Simon® American Express® Credit Card from Cardless.
Once launched, Cardmembers will receive up to 3% back on all eligible purchases made at Simon destinations and up to 1.5% back on all other purchases. Additionally, Cardmembers will receive up to 5% back on eligible purchases at participating Simon destination retailers, along with select online purchases.
The card will also come with a signup bonus. New cardmembers will be eligible to earn a $150 in statement credits after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days.
Upon approval, the Simon® American Express® Credit Card from Cardless will be available to Cardmembers instantly via the Cardless mobile app, with a physical card arriving by postal mail. Consumers will be able to apply for an account using their smartphone, and, if approved, will receive instant access to their virtual card, enabling online and in-person contactless purchases.
Cardmembers will also have access to select American Express benefits, including offers from Simon retailers and third-party merchants via Amex Offers, as well as benefits that come with Cardless cards on the American Express network.
The upcoming Simon® American Express® Credit Card from Cardless will be the first program developed by Cardless on the American Express network.
