Balances in your Simple Account earn 0.01% APY. Also open an Individual Protected Goals Account to earn up to 1.75% APY and keep it safe from spending. That rate might not last long though with the Fed lowering interest rates this week. The combined balance between your Simple Account and Protected Goals Account will be used to calculate your eligibility for the bonus.

You need to deposit $20K for the $400 bonus and keep it in the account for about three months. With a $10K deposit you get a $200 bonus. This offer is now better than last month, when they offered bonuses for $150 and $300 for the same requirements. is not the best offer from Simple Finance. The account does earn a 1.75% APY, which is very competitive but not guaranteed long term.
