Get 21,000 United or American Miles with SimpliSafe Security System

United MileagePlus and American AAdvantage have teamed up with SimpliSafe to provide a bonus of 21,000 AAdvantage miles for members who purchase a home security system. The service comes with no hidden fees and no long-term contracts.

I’ve never used the product myself, but SimpliSafe claims to be an easy to use system. No drilling. No wiring. No tools. Just plug in your Base Station, place your sensors, and in a few minutes your whole home is protected.

Now through December 31, SimpliSafe is partnering with United MileagePlus and American AAdvantage, offering travelers the chance to earn 21,000 points towards travel. All customers have to do is purchase their systems through these unique United and American microsites and enter their frequent flier / membership numbers at checkout.

In order to get the miles you need to purchase a new SimpliSafe system that includes at least one (1) Base Station, one (1) Keypad and at least three (3) additional sensors through this online campaign. Looks like this package should qualify for the bonus. It costs $259.95.

Amex Offer

Additionally, you can save even more with Amex Offers. We were told that November 2 – December 31, all American Express card members who spend $200 or more with SimpliSafe will receive a $50 statement card. This promo will be applied automatically at purchase. The offer applies to those who have had no spend through Amex with SimpliSafe in the last 12 months.

Conclusion

This is not an offer that will get you free miles. But it could be useful for those who are in the market for a new security system, and it is much better than previous offers. Please do your own research and check if this security system works for you before purchasing.

  1. They never gave me the miles, they simply said I was ineligible even though I did everything I was supposed to do, the site even said I would receive 21,000 miles when I entered my credit card info,

  2. Do yourself a favor and get Ring. It’s $100 a year for service. You’ll pay a LOT more with other providers. Yes, you have to buy equipment is upfront, but you’ll be ahead in a couple of years. And the product is outstanding.
