$100 SoFi Money Direct Deposit Bonus – Money In The Bank

Update 5/21/21: More people are being targeted for the $100 direct deposit offer and this time SoFi says you can get your paycheck up to 2 days early.  It says you are only eligible if you have never had Direct Deposit before.  Terms of the money early program. (This link will not give you the $100 offer – that comes via email) Email subject line is: Want to get paid early and a $100 bonus?

SoFi is the gift that just keeps on giving!  Some SoFi Money customers received an email that will net you a $100 SoFi Money direct deposit bonus.  I call that easy money if you are able to adjust direct deposits easily.  SoFi is the money train that never wants to stop.

Details of the Offer

SoFi Money Direct Deposit Bonus

That is it…seems pretty straightforward.  My wife’s work does all the direct deposit stuff online so I can easily move around the accounts.  If it is a pain to switch around your direct deposit then this may not be worth it to you.  Although with the 1.6% APY it is a decent savings opportunity.  I was planning on having a chunk direct deposit into our account every pay period anyway.

What is unknown is if you can use other bank accounts to act as a direct deposit like you can for bank bonuses.  I would assume not but if anyone tries it and wants to let us know that would be great.  I would also assume the bonus will post within a day of the second direct deposit like the SoFi Money bonus did.

Other Money Making Offers From SoFi

Remember that there are now multiple offers that can make you money with SoFi:

SoFi Money

The first is of course SoFi Money.  If you don’t have an account already you are missing out on potentially hundreds of dollars.  You get a $50 bonus for signing up for SoFi Money and depositing $100.  You have to use a referral offer to get the bonus (thank you if you use ours). The bonus usually posts within a day.

SoFi Money Referrals

You can then turn your SoFi Money account into a profit making machine via referrals.  For a limited time you were able to earn $100 per person referred but it has dropped back down to $50.  It is unclear if or when the $100 offer will return.

SoFi Invest

The offer for SoFi Invest was recently extended too.  If you sign up for a SoFi Invest account and transfer $100 into it you can earn $50 in free stock.  The best part is the money can actually come from your SoFi Money account.  So you could deposit $100 and get $100 in bonuses for doing it.  This offer is also only available via referral and you can get a $50 bonus for everyone you refer.

If you use a two player system you can rack up $300 taking advantage of both offers.  Just remember that you can not refer the same person twice. So have P1 refer P2 for SoFi Money and P2 refer P1 for SoFi Invest.  That way you get the bonuses for both!

Final Thoughts

I am not sure if this offer is targeted or if they will roll out the direct deposit bonus to all SoFi Money account holders. I would think it will eventually get it out to everyone. If you got the email are you going after the low hanging fruit?  I can’t wait to see the $100 hit my account 😍.
