Southwest Schedule Extension
Southwest Airlines today extended its flight schedule into the Summer of next year, allowing customers to begin booking their travel for over 7 months out.
The carrier’s full schedule of service through August 4, 2025, is now available for purchase at Southwest.com.
Booking advanced reservations on Southwest can be difficult since the schedule is normally only available on average about 7 months. Now, with this latest schedule extension, you can start planning your Summer getaways.
The extended schedule also includes additional redeye flights, popular seasonal routes, and more nonstop flights connecting guests to high-demand destinations throughout the Southwest network.
Beginning June 5, 2025, the airline is scheduled to offer redeye service from:
- Honolulu to Los Angeles (LAX)
- Lihue, Hawaii to Las Vegas
- Long Beach, Calif. to Baltimore/Washington
- Ontario, Calif. to Baltimore/Washington
- Portland, Ore. to Baltimore/Washington
- Sacramento, Calif. to Orlando, Fla.
- San Francisco to Baltimore/Washington and Nashville
- San Jose, Calif. to Baltimore/Washington
- Seattle to Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Houston (Hobby), and Nashville, Tenn.
Starting June 5, 2025, the airline is scheduled to return key seasonal routes with daily service between:
- Austin, Texas and Boston
- Baltimore/Washington and Portland, Ore.
- Baltimore/Washington and Seattle
- Dallas and Seattle
- Denver and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
- Denver and Savannah, Ga.
- Nashville, Tenn. and Seattle
Conclusion
Hopefully checking the schedule early will result in some discounted flight bookings. It is probably wise to book early and don’t forget to check regularly to see if the price drops so you can get a refund, especially during promotions.
