Target REDcard Signup Bonus March 2019
Update: This offer has returned until March 16th, 2019
The Target REDcard is valuable for a few reasons and thus is a card worth considering if you often shop at the retailer. REDcard gets you a 5% discount, free 2 day shipping for online orders and an extended return period. While neither the debit nor the credit REDcard normally offer any sort of bonus, Target is once again offering a bonus for a limited time.

Conclusion
As I have mentioned before, I have the REDcard debit card and use it occasionally for the 5% discount. The debit card doesn’t require a hard pull, but the credit card does so I would take that into consideration. For those who shop at Target often, the 5% savings plus 2 day shipping can definitely be worth it and it’s also nice to get that $25 discount.

John’s question from Oct 9 last year remains still on the table from the original publication of this post, and still unanswered. Can the Target debit card be loaded from a VISA/MC PIN-enabled bank-issued debit card? If so, how?
The debit card is linked to your bank account and is used like your regular bank debit card.
Or just buy gift cards at 10% off when they go on sale and forget all the credit nonsense.
What’s next? Banana Republic card reviews? Target? Might as well be Kmart at this point.

I love the Starbucks in our Target store. One of the main reasons I shop there. Also very clean and less crowded than Walmart
Target really dropped the ball in our local store recently. Full store redesign and it didn’t go well. I mean, the place looks good. But they failed to identify their target market. Very few coffee drinkers here yet now we have a Starbucks right at the door…you’re hit in the face with the smell of burned coffee. It’s now very difficult to navigate the store, how do I get from the door to toys??? I have a friend who works at this location, they’re laying off staff because of the sales declines since the remodel. I hardly go there anymore, even with the 5% redcard discount…
Thanks for sharing Robert. I am sure that this comment will be extremely useful for others.
How does loading debit cards work? Can I used visa or mc giftcards to put money on them or is transfer from a bank required?
The card is linked to your bank account.
