I was at Target yesterday and I wanted to price check something in the store on Amazon when I saw this offer.  My offer was for $5 off a $10 purchase when using Alexa in the Amazon app.  I think this is targeted at people that have never used Alexa in app before.  There is also an offer for $10 off a $20 purchase.  I will share both links below.

Amazon customers who want to Alexa feature in Amazon’s Mobile shopping app can get a $5 promotional code off their next qualifying $10 order in app by June 07, 2019.

  • Offer expires at 23:59 p.m. (PT) June 07, 2019.
  • Offer only applies to customers making purchase for the first time in the Amazon shopping app after signing into the app.
  • Eligible customers should have received this offer directly from Amazon through the Amazon website.
  • Customers who were forwarded this offer from parties other than Amazon may not be eligible for this offer.
  • You will receive a notification in the Amazon mobile shopping app that indicates the dollar amount of the promotion code. This notification will also provide the link and instructions on how to redeem the promotion code.
  • You must redeem the promotion code within 30-days of your first camera use in the Amazon mobile shopping app to receive the promotion code.
  • Once promotion code is received it can be applied on app only.
  • Promotional code expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) July 07, 2019.

My Thoughts

I went into the app and selected Alexa and did a search.  I also turned on my notifications but I am still awaiting my $5 code so I am not sure if I did it right or not.  It sounds like I should see something over the next 7 days but Amazon usually posts these things right away.  I think I will reach out via Amazon chat and see if they can manually add the credit to my account.

Hopefully some of you are targeted for one of these two offers.
