New American Airlines Targeted Promotions For Bonus Miles & Loyalty Points

Targeted American Airlines Promotions

Every so often there will be a wave of targeted American Airlines promotions sent out. They will often be for bonus miles earning for taking a certain number of paid flights. Other times it will be for additional loyalty points earning, which is great for status hunters.

Where Are These Offers Located?

You can easily check to see if you have any targeted American Airlines promotions in your AAdvantage account. It is something you may want to be on the lookout for on a semi regular basis. I get an email for new offers some of the time, but other times there is no notice unless I check my account myself.

If on a computer, locate the Promotions tab on the left side of your AAdvantage Account when logged in.

If on the app then select AAdvantage from the options at the bottom of the app. From there you should see Promotions as an option.

Once you are on the promotions page you can scroll all available offers for your AAdvantage account. These could be offers for bonus miles when you rent cars, book hotels or take a certain number of flights. There will even be status match offers from time to time, especially if you have status with World of Hyatt (thanks to their partnership).

Bonus Miles & Loyalty Points AA Promotions

My wife and I were both targeted for offers this time around. This round of targeted American Airlines promotions focused on bonus loyalty points earning. In the past it has been more focused on bonus AAdvantage miles (I’ll share some of those offers below). Here are our current promotion offers:

• For a limited time, earn 4,000 additional Loyalty Points when you book and fly 4 flight(s) in First, Business or Premium Economy with us.
  • Register by Mar 1, 2026
  • Complete all flights within 60 days of registration
• Another offer for 2,000 additional Loyalty Points when you book and fly 2 flight(s) in First, Business or Premium Economy with us.

Here are some previous offers that included earning bonus miles:

• 22,000 bonus miles for 4 flights in First, Business or Premium Economy
• 18,000 bonus miles for 4 flights in First, Business or Premium Economy
• 10,000 bonus miles for 4 flights in First, Business or Premium Economy
• 8,000 bonus miles when you fly 2 flights in any cabin
• 4,000 bonus miles when you fly 2 flights in any cabin and earn

The downside of all of these offers is they usually have a tight 60 day window to complete, and they require cash bookings. These offers are perfect for someone flying on their company’s dime though!
