Targeted Sapphire Preferred Offer – 120,000 Points!

There is a pretty awesome targeted Sapphire Preferred offer being circulated right now.  It is larger than the currently increased public offer and comes with a nice spending offer as well as a welcome offer.  That is what I call a double dip!  This was first reported by EosHuffer on Reddit.

Details On The Offer

Here are the details on this targeted Sapphire Preferred offer:

  • Earn 90,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $4,000 within the first 3 months.
  • Earn 5X on gas and grocery on up to $6,000 in spend the first (30,000 Ultimate Rewards)
  • The $95 annual fee is NOT waived

Comparing It To The Current Public Offer

The current public offer is for 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points. It also comes with a $50 credit on grocery purchases.  Matching to the higher offer is not possible, even if you were targeted.

The targeted offer is a pretty substantial bump on the public offer.  While it requires at least $2,000 more in spend, you get 6 months to fully maximize the additional spending offer.  That should make it a little bit easier.  The additional 40,000 points are worth around $600 more in value, $550 better than the current public offer after accounting for the $50 grocery credit.  That is like getting a second welcome offer right there!

Final Thoughts

If you get this mailer and are eligible for the offer then grab it ASAP. Run, don’t walk, to your computer. Hopefully this is an offer we see roll down to the rest of us in the future. It is one of the top 2 or 3 personal card offers out there if you can get it.
