Tennessee Is Giving Out Free Flights

Tennessee Is Giving Out Free Flights

Tennessee has launched a nationwide campaign to bring visitors back by paying for their airfare. If you plan on visiting or if you’re just looking to plan your next getaway, you can get a $250 airline voucher when you book a two-night stay through TennesseeOnMe.com.

Tennessee on Me, as the campaign is called, provides 10,000 airfare vouchers toward Tennessee-bound flights on American, Delta or Southwest Airlines. You must stay at a participating hotel in one of four cities, including Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, or Nashville.

Visitors can book until Sept. 15 and must travel between July 11 and Dec. 30, with one airline voucher per hotel booking, not per person. This means that if you’re not traveling alone, you will likely have to pay out of pocket for any additional plane tickets that you might need if $250 is not enough.

Other important details:

  • A minimum of a 2-night stay must include at least one of these nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
  • Hotels must be booked through TennesseeOnMe.com or the Nashville Reservations Center at 800-657-6910 to be eligible for the $250 airline voucher.
  • All reservations are non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable. This policy overrides any individual hotel cancellation policies. No modifications can be made directly with the hotel.
  • This offer is limited to two (2) package reservations per individual.
  • All qualified reservations will receive the Digital Airline Voucher after booking requirements have been verified. Digital Airline Voucher will be sent to the email address provided on the reservation within 48-72 business hours after the booking date.

  1. One Chattanooga hotel – was $258 (or about $320) after taxes/fees in mid-September. Now try getting a $250/RT airfare to Chattanooga.

  2. My wife and I are planning on being in Nashville during that time to see family. I looked at the offer last night after I had book one of hotels, via the hotel website, earlier in the day. I was gobsmacked that the hotel I booked with double the price through the offer.

With this offer you are paying for the $250 “free” voucher. I would check the price on the hotel sites before availing yourself of the offer. In my case I saved enough booking via the website to cover the “free” voucher.
