Top Cashback Promos

Top Cashback is one of our preferred shopping portals and they are currently running a number of promotions that I think are worth covering. Let’s take a look.

10% Cashback at Raise (Potential 20% Maybe?)

Top Cashback is currently running a promotional rate of 10% back when you purchase already discounted gift cards from Raise. That is a great deal and it may stack with Raise’s current promotion giving 10% off for new members.

The Raise new member promo gives 10% off up to a maximum discount of $20 with the code FIRST. It isn’t 100% clear if using this code will negate the cashback. It’s worth a try, but be prepared to use one or the other.  Here are the terms for Raise cashback through Top Cashback.

  • Orders submitted over $1000 are not eligible for cash back.
  • If you list a gift card for sale on Raise.com you will not be eligible for cash back.
  • Orders submitted under $20 are not eligible for cash back.
  • After you have placed over $5,000 in lifetime purchases on Raise.com, you will no longer be eligible for cash back.
  • Using a promotional/coupon code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

Extra $3 with $10 Purchase (Works with Raise Purchase Through TCB!)

In addition, Top Cashback is offering $3 extra cashback when you make a $10+ purchase through their portal. You’ll have to go to their site to activate the offer and shop before April 26, 2020 at 11:59PM PT. This $3 would apply towards a Raise purchase, thus increasing your overall savings percentage quite a bit on smaller cards.

Ninja Tricks for 14%+ Off Disney Gift Card?

Ninja Tricks: Macy's Stack Deals for 70% Off

One of the cooler uses of this promo is to purchase a Disney gift card. I know the parks are closed, however it is still a good deal if you know you’ll visit Disney. For example, you could purchase a single $100 gift card at Raise for $98.98 right now. That discount isn’t great, but it should trigger the $3 promo cashback plus $9.90 in normal cashback.

In the end your cost for a $100 Disney gift card would be $86.08 or around 14% off not including your credit card rewards.

$15 Per Referral

Top Cashback has also increased their referral payouts. You can now earn $15 instead of the normal $10 for referring your friends to the portal. The increased $15 payout runs through May 1, 2020. To earn the referral money your friend must sign-up with your referral link (here is mine) and earn $10 cashback.

20% Cashback at Some Stores

In addition to 10% at Raise, an extra $3 cash back and $15 referrals, they are also running a 20% cashback event. Stores like GMC, eBags and more are offering the increased rate. There are a total of 39 merchants who are participating in this promotion.

Bottom Line

Top Cashback is offering increased referrals and up to 20% cashback at some stores, but the real winner is the 10% cashback at Raise combined with their other promos. I personally picked up a $100 Disney gift card which I’ll combine with my others at DisneyGiftCard.com for use in the parks!

Happy saving!

  1. That’s fair enough and thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences.

I haven’t had issues with Raise and TCB, although I only do it once in awhile during promos like this. With that said, I did this earlier before I wrote the article and BOTH my $3 and the 10% cashback are tracking and showing on my TCB account.

  2. I think it should at least be mentioned the horrible track record that topcashback has when paying out for raise.
