You Can Now Transfer Capital One Miles to Virgin Red

On March 1st, Capital One made several announcements, including a new transfer partner that would soon be added to its miles program. Now that new partner, Virgin Red, has officially been added.

Starting today, Capital One miles cardholders will be able to transfer to Virgin Red at a 1:1 miles transfer ratio. Capital One is the first US credit card issuer to partner with Virgin Red, the brand new loyalty program for the Virgin family of brands.

With Virgin Red onboard, Capital One now has a total of 16 travel loyalty partners that transfer at a 1:1 ratio.

Capital One miles transfer at a 1:1 ratio to almost all travel loyalty program partners: Aeromexico (Club Premier), Air Canada (Aeroplan), Air France KLM (Flying Blue), Avianca (LifeMiles), British Airways (Avios), Cathay Pacific (Asia Miles), Choice Hotels (Choice Privileges), Emirates Airlines (Emirates Skywards), Etihad (Etihad Guest), Finnair (Finnair Plus), Qantas (Qantas Frequent Flyer), Singapore Airlines (KrisFlyer), TAP Air Portugal (TAP Miles&Go), Turkish Airlines (Miles&Smiles) and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (Wyndham Rewards).

Miles can be transferred at a rate of 2 Capital One miles to 1.5 airline miles to EVA Air (Infinity MileageLands). Capital One miles can also be transferred at a rate of 2 to 1 loyalty point to ALL – Accor Live Limitless.

Capital One customers will need to transfer a minimum of 1,000 Venture X, Venture or Spark Miles at a time to travel loyalty programs, and will need to transfer in 100 mile increments.
