United Airlines has launched a Chase Cardholder exclusive sale for travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, or Tahiti. Award prices are either 30,000 or 40,000 miles one-way in Economy, which is now considered a sale. Let’s see the details for those interested.
The Offer
Book by May 30 for travel between July 1 and December 12. Available destinations include:
- Sydney, Australia for 40,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) one-way
- Melbourne, Australia for 40,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) one-way
- Brisbane, Australia for 40,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) one-way
- Auckland, New Zealand for 40,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) one-way
- Papeete, Tahiti for 30,000 miles (plus taxes and fees) one-way

- Taxes and government-imposed fees for award travel from the US to Tahiti (PPT) start at $5.60 one-way, Sydney (SYD) $26.20 one-way, Melbourne (MEL) $19.40 one-way, Brisbane (BNE) $28.10 one-way, or Auckland (AKL) $45.10 one-way.
- Cardmembers must login using MileagePlus number to book award. No limit to the number of award tickets booked. The promotion applies to new award bookings and not to award tickets already booked.
- Promotion valid for travel between the mainland U.S. and Tahiti (PPT), Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), or Auckland (AKL).
- Tickets: Tickets must be purchased by May 30, 2024.
- Travel Period: Travel between July 1, 2024 and December 12, 2024.

Last min space can be found on United and American to these places on awards in business class as well. American has econ space. If you have the United card then great but there is space out there regardless.
