A passenger on Flight 132 posted a video of flames coming out of the engine. There were 142 passengers on board, but luckily no injuries were reported.
Some of the passengers were re-booked on other flights immediately. Some others may need to wait until the end of the week to get to Majuro.
A United spokesperson told KHON in Honolulu that the flight experienced a mechanical issue with one of the engines a little while after taking off and as a result, returned to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. The plane with the engine problem is now out of service.
