US Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Card Offering Increased 26,667 FlexPoints Bonus

The U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards credit card has an increased signup bonus that is worth $400 in travel. The annual fee is also waived for the first year.

The Offer

Earn a one-time 26,667 bonus FlexPoints when Net Purchases totaling $2,000 or more are made to your account within four months from account opening. That’s worth $400 in travel.

$49 Annual Fee is waived the first year.

Application Page

Card Benefits

  • One FlexPoint per $1 spent on all eligible net purchases
  • Double FlexPoints on the category you spend the most on (at gas stations, grocery stores or airlines) and at most cell phone service providers during each billing cycle
  • Triple FlexPoints on qualifying charitable donations

Conclusion

FlexPoints are worth up to 1.5 cents each now and that makes this bonus worth $400. The points are also easier to use now. But, this is not one of the best bonuses out there, and not the best for this card either. We have seen better bonuses during the Olympics, up to 32K-33K. Also keep in mind that US Bank is not very lenient with approvals, so you might want to take a look at the Altitude Reserve card first.
