This Week’s MtM Vegas
On this week’s show we talk about how one of Sin City’s many strip clubs is about to start taking bitcoin. Plus it was a very busy weekend for entertainment in Vegas including the first ever full event at Allegiant Stadium. Unfortunately the “commute” for fans was frustrating at best.
We also talk about how the Crockfords rooms look a bit different compared to the Resorts World website. Are they going to be worth the money? Plus we discuss the quirks of Detroit’s casinos, where high speed rail is setting up in Vegas, beer pong is back and NYNY restaurants have reversed course on their ridiculous “process” fee.
Vegas Strip Club Bitcoin – Bottom Line
While I am still skeptical about the long term prospects for Vegas high speed rail, this is a major milestone and one that has me sort of excited to see how it all plays out. As for the Allegiant Stadium issues, I think its going to be years before that is figured out. What do you think?

What the commentary about the Allegiant Stadium and Garth Brooks concert failed to include was that when the concert was over the temperature was 104 F. Imagine walking a long distance to a car in that heat!
Brutal for sure. Thanks DC!
I’m curious- my spouse and I stayed away from Vegas due to Covid and started going back in June (two visits so far). We noticed our comps/status zeroed out and while we got a free room and some free play, we’re a lower tier. I won’t mention the casino; I’m just wondering if this is a thing with some casinos to save money. We are not big players but regularly spend $500-600 in a couple days.
Most casinos extended tier status and comps well pass the usual expiration date and gave plenty of notice of that. At this point you can’t really blame them.
