Capital One Venture X Business Card Offers 300K Bonus
Back in February, Capital One announced that it would rebrand the Spark Travel Elite business card to Venture X Business. The change made sense as the card is almost identical to the personal Venture X card.
Now, the Capital One Venture X Business card is live and available for applications through a relationship manager. There’s also a huge bonus of 300,000 miles that comes with a shocking spending requirement. Let’s see the details.
The Offer
As of May 1, 2023, you can now apply for the Venture X Business through a relationship manager. Here’s the welcome bonus:
- Earn up to 300,000 miles when you apply and are approved for the Capital One Venture X Business card:
- Earn 150,000 miles after you spend $30,000 within the first 3 months
- Plus an additional 150,000 miles when you spend a total of $500,000 within the first year
- Annual Fee: $395
There’s no link to apply online, but you can see the card page here. Venture X Business is only available to clients of Capital One Relationship Managers for the time being. No word if, or when it will be available publicly.
Eligibility rules are still the same. Spark Cash Plus cardholders are unable to apply for Venture X Business. However, existing cardholders of other Spark cards are eligible to apply.
Card Highlights
- Venture X Business is a pay-in-full charge card, with no preset spending limit.
- In addition to unlimited 2X miles on every purchase, Venture X Business cardholders earn 10X miles on hotels and rental cars and 5X miles on flights when booked through Capital One Travel.
- Cardholders will receive up to $300 in statement credits annually for bookings made through Capital One Travel.
- 10,000 bonus miles (equal to $100 toward travel) every year after their first anniversary.
- Access to all-inclusive amenities at Capital One Lounges and Priority Pass lounges.
- Up to a $100 credit for TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry every 4 years.
Conclusion
This is a great business product with a huge signup bonus. You can earn 150,000 miles when you spend $30,000 within the first three months. There’s also a second part of the bonus that requires another 470,000 in spending for earning an additional 150,000 miles. I’m sure most people will skip that second part unless they really need to spend half a million.
You have to pay the $395 annual fee, but you also get a $300 annual credit for bookings through Capital One Travel and 10,000 bonus miles every year after the first anniversary. You also get access to Capital One airport lounges as well as Priority Pass lounges.

Fake news. This article is based on one unverified Reddit comment. There’s no proof that this bonus as stated is real or isn’t a typo $500k versus $50k.
yeah the deal breaker: “Plus an additional 150,000 miles when you spend a total of $500,000 within the first year”
Very inferior to the previous offer. 500k spend is absurd. At 30k spend you get 210k points which is fine but not amazing. 30k spend with amex biz plat will get you 345k points, granted a near $1400 af (vs $95 here assuming you take advantage of the travel credit).
Makes sense if you have 30k to spend right away and are maxed out on amex offers, but other than that a big downgrade.
This is not that great. I can scoop up 450k MR points for $45k and they arguably offer more value than CapOne miles. This may be of interest to some but doesn’t seem worth it, IMO.
