Amazon Gift Card Bonus
Amazon is offering members who have never reloaded their gift card balance before, $5 free if they load $100 or more. This seemingly applies to any account where a reload has never been done. For example, my Amazon business account qualifies, however my personal account which has had loads before does not.
You can see if you are eligible by clicking this link.
Remember that Discover is paying 5% back at Amazon this month, so you could basically get $105 in credit for $95 after factoring in the cashback. Not bad.

Analysis
This is a pretty great deal, especially if you can find one of the properties that goes for a decent nightly rate. I have an upcoming trip to Asia and was looking at some of those hotels, but they are a bit pricey for my dates so I’m not sure if it will be worth it. Still, a free night plus all of the other benefits at these particular hotels has a lot of value.

Boo Hoo. They suck. Offer a promotion and kill it after two days?
[…] I wrote about a pretty amazing promotion from Visa Signature’s Luxury Hotel Collection where they were offering the following on stays at select Conrad, Waldorf Astoria and Curio […]
“Due to the unexpected popularity of the Hilton free night offer, hotel inventory subject to this offer booked up much sooner than anticipated and is no longer available. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please note that the $75 USD gift card promotion is still available at Participating Hilton Hotels, see the offer page for more information.”
That was quick
I tried to find the Delta Hawaii promotions from either EWR or one of their hubs at JFK. They did not exist.
The best I could find was EWR-KOA for 110K in premium class, two stops, and the first two legs had no
“real” first class, as they were regional metal, aka “puddle jumpers”. That’s what Delta delivered for a first
class award flight. The last leg was a 757. Again not real first class. What are they advertising here?
That was Tuesday. Checked again today, same thing.
It needs Saver space which is the key. I have found it on some routes, but didn’t do an exhaustive search.
Shawn, that was the saver award, the cheapest available in orange. Where did you find it?
Is there any way to stack a deal, I have a Citi Hilton which Isa signature, sorry, no CSR yet
Stacking the 2 for 1? I’m not sure, but you could pay with your Hilton card and earn bonus points. Because this is booked through a third party it most likely won’t earn stay credit or points for the actual stay.
