Visa Gift Card Deal

Safeway & Albertsons Visa Gift Card Deal

Albertsons, Safeway, Vons etc. have a great new Visa gift card deal for the next two weeks. Let’s take a look!

The Offer

Save $10 instantly when you purchase $100 or more in Visa gift cards.

Key Terms

  • Offer expires 6/3/2017
  • Limit 1
  • Club Card required

Loading the Offer

This offer comes in the form of a digital coupon that needs to be loaded to your account. Once you load the offer, the $10 discount should come off automatically when you purchase $100 or more in Visa gift cards.

Maximizing

During past Visa gift card deals, all Visa gift cards including $500 variable load cards triggered this offer. The best way to maximize this deal would be to use a card that earns bonus rewards in the grocery store category. If you buy a $500 card for $505.95, then you will profit $4.05 plus the rewards on your card.  Note that some stores do not carry $500 cards, so you might have to settle for smaller denominations.

Use a credit card that gives you the most points at groceries stores such as Blue Cash Preferred, Old Blue Cash or Chase Freedom that has grocery stores as a bonus category this quarter.

Conclusion

The coupon is limited to one-time use only, but either way it is a great deal and a great way to get negative cost spend. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have any of their brands nearby

  1. I’m torn between using my amex 6% card and Alaska 1% card, its hard for me to get 500 free miles but its easy to earn cash back. Thoughts?
