Walmart+ Adds Free Paramount+
Walmart has made a surprising announcement that will improve its Walmart+ membership. Subscribers will soon have an added bonus, Paramount+ Essential at no extra cost.
Update 9/12/22: This is now live. Go to How streaming works on your account and then select Get Paramount+.
Walmart+ members will be able to stream premium entertainment as part of their membership starting in September. The Paramount+ Essential Plan will give Walmart+ members access to popular content from acclaimed original dramas such as “1883” and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” to the world’s most popular preschool franchise, “PAW Patrol,” live sports from several sporting leagues such as UEFA Champions League.
Some of the existing benefits for Walmart+ members include in-store perks, savings at the gas pump, on groceries, and listening to music. Walmart+ will remain $98 a year or $12.95 a month and include the Paramount+ Essential Plan subscription with an added $59 value.
You can get Walmart+ for free if you have an Amex Platinum credit card. If you don’t have that card, you can still enjoy free Paramount plus for a few months at least with this Amex Offer, or some of these promo codes.
The new addition to the Walmart+ membership rivals Amazon’s Prime, which also offers free shipping as well as video and music streaming services. Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year.
Amazon Prime has about 200 million subscribers, while Walmart+ does not include its numbers.

I already have Paramount plus Premium, will going through Walmart+ offer any discount on the premium subscription?
This is good news but the music benefit is only a trial of spotify
Reminds me to cancel my spotify next month. Those 6 months flew by.
