Alaska Mileage Plan Shopping: Wish You Were There Sweepstakes

The Alaska Mileage Shopping portal has a great promotion going on right now. This is very similar to the United sweepstakes from a few weeks ago (which is still ongoing). This one is even better because most people value Alaska miles ahead of United miles.  Alaska miles are widely considered  the most valuable airline mile out there.

The sweepstakes doesn’t cost anything to enter and can net you 100,000 miles and $2500.

  • Grand Prize – 100,000 miles & $2500
  • 3 First prizes – 20,000 miles each

Methods of Entry

  • Register for the Sweeps – 1 entry
  • Get the button – Install the Mileage Plan Shopping browser extension – 100 entries
  • Opt into marketing emails – 100 entries
  • 50 entries per $50 purchase when using the portal.  Up to 2 times daily (100 entries per day)

Conclusion

For big portal spenders you can rack up a lot of entries for the sweepstakes.  Make sure the payout makes sense at cashbackmonitor first though.
