WOW Air Fare Sale

WOW Air Fare Sale, Get 20% Off Select Routes

WOW Air is celebrating 4th of July with a promotion that will give you a 20% discount on base fares on several European destinations. Let’s look at the details.

The Offer

Book before midnight on July 8th, 2018 with code WOW4JULY and travel by September 30th, 2018 to get a 20% discount off your flight to select destinations. Discount does not apply to taxes and service fees.

You can fly from several US cities to Reykjavik, Paris, London Stansted, London Gatwick, and Brussels. Book directly on WOW Air’s website. You can find prices as low as $194 for direct round trip flights.

Key Terms

  • 20% off airfare (not taxes and service fees)
  • Book before 23:59 (GMT), July 8th, 2018
  • Travel by September 30th, 2018

Fees

WOW’s base fares are usually unbelievable but prepare yourself to pay for any extras and don’t assume anything will be free. WOW Air charges for almost everything, so make sure you go over their list of fees before booking. You’re only allowed a free carry-on item (17x13x10 in./22 lbs), which is very very small. You’ll have to pay for a carry-on bag and checked luggage.

Seat assignment will also cost you, $9.99-$10.99. Check out the full list of fees and charges here.

Conclusion

WOW is a budget airline so this sale is not for everyone. The 20% discount should make their already cheap tickets even more affordable. Should be worth a look if you’re planning a short getaway to one of its destinations in Europe.

Don’t forget to maximize your credit card rewards. Use Amex Platinum that offers 5x MR on airfare, Chase Sapphire Reserve for 3x UR on travel, or Citi Prestige for 3x TYP on airfare. You can also use travel credit from your Citi Prestige or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
