$100 Bonus for the Discover it Card
Discover currently has an improved bonus on the Discover it Card. The offer is available through referral links only. You can earn a $100 referral bonus and the person signing up also gets a $100 signup bonus. Not everyone will see this improved offer in their accounts. The normal offer is just $50. Let’s check the details.
Update 1/8/22: Offer has been extended until 12/31/22 and more people have been targeted.
The Offer
Receive a $100 Statement Credit after making a purchase that posts to your account within three months of account opening. You must apply through your friend’s referral link and be approved by December 31, 2022 in order to be eligible for the $100 Statement Credit offer. Offer may not be combined with any other introductory offer. Promotional award will be applied within 8 weeks.
Card Benefits
- No Annual Fee
- 1% cash back on all other purchases automatically (Doubled to $2%)
- 5% cash back in categories that change each quarter on up to $1,500 in purchases (Doubled to $10%)
- Doubled cashback will be awarded as lump sum on 13th statement
Key Terms

Conclusion
This offer is double the regular bonus of $50 that is offered on the card. You just need to make a purchase within three months in order to get the $100 bonus. Just make sure you apply through a referral link that has the increased offer.
The card earns 1% on all purchases and 5% on rotating quarterly categories. That cash back is doubled for the first year (not the signup bonus), making it 2% and 10%, which is awesome. That’s up to $150 cash back on quarterly categories.
